Telford Brown Studio Architecture provides thoughtful, modern architectural and interior design for homes, wineries and sacred spaces. Our projects are featured in media such as Luxe, Oregon Home, and Portrait of Portland magazines and we are a frequent winner of “Best of Houzz” awards.

 

Led by Portland Architect Hope Telford and based in Portland, Oregon, we’re a boutique firm with a flexible, collaborative team that creates simple, beautiful and practical spaces that emphasize natural materials, comfort, usability and energy efficiency.

ARCHITECTURAL STAFF (Non-licensed & Full-time)

Our ideal candidate has a professional degree in Architecture and at least 3-5 years of experience, HOWEVER we are willing to consider candidates with less experience, so if the rest of the job description fits you, please apply. You also should be organized, self-motivated and exceptional at working well with others, and able to independently perform typical tasks for projects of moderate size and complexity, such as:

 

• Guided assistance with project drawing sets.
• Analyses of design planning and occupancy studies and limited design layouts.
• Assistance with preparation of project specifications.
• Writing reports for municipalities, when needed.
• Reviewing completed reports, plans, estimates and calculations.

 

Equally important, we are looking for someone who truly enjoys working with others, and is a creative problem solver. We are a flexible bunch who love working together here at the office, where creative inspiration and problem-solving happens over the tops of our desks, and we all pitch in whenever and wherever we’re needed. We also value time to put our heads down and really get to work, and whereas we’ve always been a workplace that values a healthy work-life balance, we also offer some flexibility as well.
