Agricultural Nursery Building
This project is based around insulated shipping containers that the client uses to flash-freeze their harvest, as they await being shipped to a different production facility. There is a greenhouse, testing labs, and staff offices on the top level, and a flexible open-air processing and sorting facility, with freezer containers, on the lower level.

T+BSA designed the building to run off solar power, and a stack ventilation system allows heat gains to be controlled, and air to be circulated. Additional heating could be done through geothermal heat. Reusing discarded refrigerated shipping containers also makes this a fairly low-impact building.
