Wardin Building

We worked closely with a repeat client to convert a brownfield into a commercial building with four spaces, each with a mezzanine. We also took advantage of the sloping site and maximized street frontage, with saw-tooth windows, for each space.

  • Location: Portland, Oregon

    Size: 7,050 SF

Daylighting and a high-performance envelope reduce energy costs while large windows maximize exposure to motorists as well as pedestrians.

Outdoor seating helps animate this neighborhood hub.

  • DESIGN TEAM: Richard Brown AIA, Bob Smith, Jason Didion, Geoffrey Harker, Andrew Bernaus, and Hope Telford AIA
